MassMutual Great Lakes Announces New Women Financial Group Led by Gina Coleman

It’s been said that “the future of finance is female” and MassMutual Great Lakes (MMGL) is proudly leading the way. The Southfield-based mutual life insurance company that offers a wide range of financial products and services is pleased to announce the launch of the Collective Financial Group (CFG), an all-female financial services firm dedicated to serving the financial needs of women while championing career opportunities for women in finance.

Gina Coleman, Chief Sales Officer for MassMutual Great Lakes serves as a strategic partner to the CFG.

Gina Coleman, former Vice President, Client & Community Relations Director with PNC Financial Services, joined MassMutual Great Lakes in January, becoming the company’s highest-ranking female executive. She brings more than 25 years of combined experience in financial services, business, B2B and B2C sales, and management roles. Coleman will spearhead the sales department’s brand strategy and development initiatives to drive recruiting, sales training, adviser recognition and retention.

“We want to ensure this is a welcoming industry for women – one that empowers them to live their best lives and take control of their futures. We need more women in this industry,” Coleman said. “My new role at MassMutual Great Lakes allows me to do what I do best, which is building relationships. I’m inspired by the vision set forth by Manny and Samantha Amezcua and excited to grow the MMGL brand under his leadership.”
