Raichelle ‘Rai’ Glover to Pen Foreword for Who’s Who In Black Charlotte
‘Who’s Who In Black Charlotte’ set for Nov. 1 Reveal
The publishers of ‘Who’s Who In Black Charlotte’ are proud to announce that Raichelle “Rai” Glover, a distinguished executive with over 30 years of financial expertise, will be the foreword writer for the upcoming program. This edition’s networking reception and book reveal will be held on Nov. 1, 2024.
“It is an honor to write the foreword for Who’s Who in Black Charlotte. I look forward to sharing a bit about my journey thus far,” says Glover. “I’ve been guided by my faith, which has been the cornerstone of my personal and professional achievements.”
Glover is a renowned leader with over 30 years of experience in the fields of commercial lending, change management, mergers and acquisitions, human capital management, and succession planning. Her career has been marked by her remarkable dedication to achieving results that not only help businesses flourish but also enhance the lives of individuals and enable communities to thrive. Glover has held many executive positions, including significant roles at Bank of America and SunTrust/Truist Bank, and she currently serves as Regional President at Huntington National Bank.
Among her many honors, Glover has been named; Most Influential Woman in Finance, Person of Prominence, Best of the Best, Women Who Lead, and Outstanding Leader in the Community. She has also written for numerous publications on navigating and mastering corporate America, leadership and more.
Glover’s commitment to excellence extends beyond her professional achievements. She is actively involved in civic responsibilities and is a member of several boards and task forces across the East Coast. Her dedication to service is further demonstrated by her role as a strategic advisor within the companies and boards she serves and her contributions to various community initiatives.

Glover holds both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree from the University of South Carolina and has received executive management certification from Duke University. She has been a Woodrow Wilson Visiting Fellow and co-chaired Chralotte’s 2022 Vote Yes for City Bonds to pass a $226 million bond referendum.
When she is not leading teams or serving on boards, Rai enjoys traveling, reading, and motivational speaking. She is married to her best friend, Lewis, and together they have two children, Austin and Ashley.
