Who’s Who In Black Detroit is our signature unveiling celebrations in Detroit, Michigan. Every year hundreds gather to celebrate African American achievement and experiences in their city. It is an opportunity to network within the community with business owners, community leaders, politicians and gain insights from leaders in various industries.

About New Faces
High Places

Detroit — known for its resilience, agility, upwardly mobile entrepreneurship sector, and unflappable residents — is also seeing a resurgence when it comes to attracting non-native Black movers and shakers to the area. The Michigan Chronicle and Real Times Media (RTM), alongside approximately 80 of the city’s current power players, officially welcomed the newest Black C-suite leaders who now call Detroit home at the New Faces, High Places welcome reception.

Who’s Who In Black Detroit Book – 9th Edition.

Who’s Who In Black Detroit Edition highlights impactful people in our community. With the ever-changing climate it is imperative that we continue to recognize, document and celebrate African American achievement and excellence.

This book serves as a historical snapshot of the people who do the hard work to build a better future for the next generation. The men and women that are featured in the Who’s Who In Black editions are more than role models; they inspire and give us hope.

They are the fruition of the promise that hard work, commitment, and focus will manifest greatness.

Cathy is a 30-year marketing and public relations veteran with extensive experience and expertise in business start-ups and branding.  Her passion is taking an idea from concept to reality creating a memorable brand, an impactful web presence and effective promos and events to launch and grow a business.
