White, President and CEO of the Detroit Wayne Integrated Health Network (DWIHN), has been named the recipient of the prestigious VIBE Award for Health, Wealth, and Empowerment by Delta Dental. Presented as part of Who’s Who in Black Detroit, the award recognizes White’s exceptional leadership in behavioral healthcare and his unwavering dedication to empowering communities.

White’s extensive career in public service spans over two decades, including roles as Chief of Police for the City of Detroit and Executive Director of the Michigan Department of Civil Rights. His educational achievements—a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from Central Michigan University and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Wayne State University—further underscore his expertise in fostering meaningful community impact.
