Kenneth N. Wilson Named Introduction Writer for 20th Anniversary Edition of Who’s Who In Black Columbus

Real Times Media proudly announces that Kenneth N. Wilson, County Administrator for Franklin County, will serve as the introduction writer for the highly anticipated 20th Anniversary Edition of Who’s Who In Black Columbus.

As the highest unelected official in Franklin County government, Wilson has served as County Administrator since 2015, leading 15 county agencies and more than 1,400 employees. He oversees the County’s annual $2.2 billion budgeting process for 35 agencies, helping ensure Franklin County remains among the nation’s most effective and well-governed communities.

A respected public servant and civic leader, Wilson holds a Master of Public Administration from Ohio University and a Bachelor of Arts from James Madison College at Michigan State University, where he studied Public Affairs, Metropolitan Studies, and Business.

Wilson’s leadership extends beyond county government through his service on numerous local and national organizations, including the Board of Directors of the National Forum for Black Public Administrators (NFBPA), the Executive Committee of the Kappa Alpha Psi Columbus Alumni Chapter Board of Directors, and as Immediate Past President of the National Association of County Administrators (NACA).

“Kenneth Wilson exemplifies the kind of visionary leadership and unwavering commitment to community that Who’s Who In Black has celebrated for the past 20 years,” said Dr. Carter D. Womack, Chief Operating Officer of Who’s Who In Black. “His dedication to public service, stewardship, and advancing opportunity throughout Central Ohio makes him an ideal voice to help frame and commemorate this historic milestone edition.”

For two decades, Who’s Who In Black Columbus has recognized the accomplishments and contributions of Black professionals, entrepreneurs, educators, executives, and community leaders whose impact continues to shape the region. The 20th Anniversary Edition will honor that legacy while highlighting the changemakers defining Columbus today.

The 20th Anniversary Who’s Who In Black Columbus Book Unveiling and Celebration Event will be held on November 17, 2026, at The Ohio State University Student Union – Archie Griffin Ballroom.
