Nationwide’s Vinita Clements to Pen Introduction for 18th Edition of ‘Who’s Who In Black Columbus’

‘Who’s Who In Black Columbus’ set for Nov. 21st reveal

Nationwide Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer Vinita Clements will pen the introduction for the upcoming 18th edition of ‘Who’s Who In Black Columbus.’ This edition’s networking reception and book reveal will be held on Nov. 21, 2024, at The Ohio State University’s Archie Griffin Ballroom.

“Since its inception, ‘Who’s Who In Black’ has been a celebration of Black excellence and a catalyst for empowerment,” says Clements, who is responsible for leading Nationwide’s human resources, diversity, equity and inclusion and enterprise people strategy.

“I am honored to write the introduction for the 18th edition of ‘Who’s Who In Black Columbus.’ These volumes have helped create a community where mentorship, connections and ambition thrive. For the rising stars, it represents more than a publication. It is an important way to affirm that their potential is limitless, and their successes are deserving of celebration,” Clements adds.

Clements is credited for pioneering Nationwide’s workplace of the future by redesigning its approach to attracting, hiring and retaining talent. Her focus includes evolving the associate experience with increased workplace flexibility and career development opportunities.

Clements is a member of the Executive Leadership Council and the Senior HR Executives Council. She serves as a board trustee for the Columbus Symphony Orchestra, the National Urban League and the Columbus Museum of Art, and on the advisory boards for Catalyst and The Ohio State University Fisher Leadership Initiative Corporate Advisory Council. She is also a charter member of the National Advisory Council for The Kids Mental Health Foundation.
