COLUMBUS, OH — Who’s Who In Black Columbus is proud to announce the launch of its first-ever Women of Excellence celebration, a premier platform honoring black women whose leadership, vision, and service transform and elevate Central Ohio.
Set to debut this spring, Women of Excellence Columbus will spotlight 50 remarkable women who are shaping industries, uplifting communities, and paving pathways for future generations. For the first time, Metro-Columbus will gather hundreds of community leaders, corporate partners, and influencers to applaud the brilliance and contributions of these women whose work fuels progress throughout the region.
Who’s Who In Black invites the community to nominate exceptional women who represent a powerful collective of executives, entrepreneurs, innovators, advocates, and change agents who exemplify what it means to lead with purpose and impact. These professionals are role models who not only break barriers, but also intentionally build bridges and create access for others to rise.
Nominees must meet the following criteria:
- African American executive or business owner
- Demonstrated professional success within her industry
- A positive role model whose contributions inspire others
- Active engagement in community service or organizational leadership
To submit a nomination for a woman who exemplifies these qualities, please visit www.whoswhoinblack.com/woecolumbus. Nominations open on March 2 and close on March 25, 2026.
Whether she is transforming her field, championing equity, mentoring the next generation, or driving innovation, this is the moment to honor her impact. Selected honorees will be celebrated at a signature ceremony and commemorated in The Book of Women, meant to serve as both an archival tribute and an empowering resource for years to come.
